Ingredients
- 1 can (14.5 oz) cut green beans, drained (or 2 cups cooked fresh)
- ½ can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup (about ½ cup)
- ¼ cup milk
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ teaspoon onion powder
- ⅛ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ cup French fried onions, divided
- Optional: ¼ cup shredded cheddar cheese
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a medium bowl, combine the green beans, cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, and pepper. Add ¼ cup of French fried onions and fold gently.
- Pour mixture into a small baking dish (about 6-inch or similar).
- Bake for 20 minutes, until hot and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven, sprinkle the remaining fried onions (and cheese if using) evenly over the top.
- Return to the oven and bake an additional 5 minutes, or until the topping is golden and crispy.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
